"It
is the human condition that intrigues me the most. The ineffable quality of
human emotion. To express what can not be found in words but only through the
language of art. Use of paint gives rise to peripheral sight of mind and steel
to mirror our own mortality. The velvety oxidation for want of skin but to the
touch brings visceral reality. Finding strength and energy in life and nature
at its purest form. Spending quiet times amongst the rock, dirt and leaves so
that I may translate those vignettes to paint and steel in hope the the mind
shall be silent and all is almost quiet enough to hear a whisper."
